Despite progress, women still hold only 28% of seats in the U.S. Congress. Even at the state level, women account for 33.7% of state house seats and 29.9% of state senate seats.Although Nevada has achieved a majority-women legislature, many states lag behind, with some under 12% representation. This Townhall will empower you with information on the key issues and opportunities for women in leadership—and why your vote in the upcoming election is crucial.
